Scarborough Muay Thai athlete selected to represent Canada at the 2024 IFMA Senior World Championships!

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that one of our own, Noah Giraldo, has been chosen to represent Canada in the prestigious 2024 IFMA Senior World Championships! Set against the backdrop of Greece’s historical magnificence, this event promises to be a thrilling showcase of talent and determination, running from May 31st to June 10th. You can read more about the 2024 IFMA Senior World Championships.

Noah’s journey in the realm of Muay Thai has been nothing short of inspirational. From his early days as a reserved high school student to his current status as a world-class athlete, we’ve had the privilege of witnessing his remarkable growth firsthand. Noah’s dedication and passion for the sport have propelled him to this remarkable achievement.

His place on Team Canada was earned through sheer hard work and excellence. Not only was Noah named the Muaythai Ontario 2023 Male Athlete of the Year, but he also clinched the Muaythai Ontario 63.5kg Championship in October, successfully defending his title just a month later. Today, he proudly holds the title of the reigning 63.5kg Champion.

Now, Noah’s sights are firmly set on securing a Gold medal for Canada at the upcoming IFMA World Championships! However, he can’t do it alone. As Muay Thai gains momentum across Canada, athlete support remains a critical issue. Unlike many other sports, there is no national funding available for our dedicated athletes. Thus, Noah, along with his coach Lanny, must rely on the generosity of supporters like you to fulfill their dream of representing our country on the international stage.

How You Can Help:

We invite you to join us in supporting Noah’s journey by contributing to his GoFundMe campaign. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference. Your generosity will directly aid Noah and Coach Lanny in covering the expenses associated with traveling to Greece and proudly representing Canada.

Thank You for Your Support:

On behalf of the entire Stride Muay Thai family, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who chooses to support Noah on his journey. Your generosity not only fuels his dreams but also serves as a testament to the strength of our community. Together, we can help Noah bring home the Gold for Canada!

Let’s rally behind Noah as he embarks on this incredible adventure. Stay tuned for further updates as we cheer him on every step of the way!

Best Regards,

Lanny Chan
